What are the Resorts Seasons & minimum night stay requirements?
Peak Season – From June 1 – August 31

What are the applicable Tax Rates?
Wisconsin Taxes
Vacation Property Rentals are subject to 5.5% state sales tax and 5.5% local room tax.
Equipment Rentals and Products are subject to 5.5% state sales tax.
What methods of payments do you accept?
We accept a variety of payment methods including credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), PayPal, ACH, cash, and check. You can select your preferred payment method during checkout.

Is booking a new Lodging Reservation easy, what do I do?
Yes, it very easy!
Here the basic instructions to BOOK your next dream vacation, Family Reunion, or Business Retreat at Pokegama Lake Lodge Resort!
STEP 1 – BOOKING PROCESS – ANYTIME
- Confirm the # of Guests in your group & dates.
- Confirm any special requests you may have for you or your group.
- Determine which property fits your needs and budget best for your stay.
- Schedule a Free Consultation if needed to discuss your reservation details.
- Book your Lodging Reservation online at Tukkuruk.com with a 50% deposit.
STEP 2 – ONBOARDING PROCESS – 30-60 BEORE ARRIVAL
- Confirm any equipment rentals, excursions, or experiences.
- Confirm any concierge requests like Transportation, Chefs, Massages, etc.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, and the Short-term Rental Agreement.
- Pay the final 50% of your reservation, rentals, experiences, and fees.
STEP 3 – CHECK-IN PROCESS – ARRIVAL
- Complete the Check-in process online in your client portal at Tukkuruk.com.
- Confirm any final rentals or experiences you want for your stay.
- Have lots of fun at Pokegama Lake Lodge Resort for the week!

What is the Short Term Rental Agreement, why do I need to sign one?
The Entire Resort and Main Lodge rentals require a signed “Short-Term Rental Agreement”. The Rental Agreement can be signed in your client Portal on the Tukkuruk.com website.
Your reservation corresponds to the timing outlined in the Short-Term Rental Agreement (the price encompasses rental fees, taxes, and other associated costs, including the property security deposit), based on your request and property availability, as indicated under the arrival and departure dates.
The individual named on the Short-Term Rental Agreement assumes full responsibility for the reservation, including all obligations stipulated in the agreement, as well as the retrieval and return of the property’s keys and other property. The leaseholder must be at least 25 years of age to rent a Vacation Rental Property through Tukkuruk.com
How/where do I apply a Discount code to my Purchase?
When you are completing your transaction on the Tukkuruk.com website, there will be a section for putting your coupon code prior to the final checkout.
Put the code in that section, click “Apply”, and you should see the discount applied. If discount code does not work, call our office for assistance.
What is the Deposit amount, what is the purpose?
Entire Resort or Main Lodge
For a reservation of the Entire Resort/Lodge/Home, an advance deposit covering 50% of the total amount is required at the time of the reservation booking, with remainder due 30 days before your reservation.
For reservations made within 30 days of arrival, full payment online and completion of both the Short-term Rental Agreement and Registration Forms prior to arrival is required.
Private Rooms in Main Lodge
For a reservation of a Private room in the Main Lodge, an advance deposit covering 100% of the total amount is required at the time of the reservation booking.
Payments are accepted online at Tukkuruk.com via; Credit cards, direct bank payment, Ach, or Paypal.
What is the Security Deposit, how does it work?
A security deposit is required for most all properties, with the specified amount detailed on the property listing webpage, and the first page of the Short-Term Rental Agreement. The purpose of the security deposit is to safeguard the owner’s property, outdoor areas, and contents against any damages.
Additionally, should any Check-out Procedures not be adhered to, supplementary charges will be deducted from the security deposit. Check-out Procedures and Security Deposit deductions are outlined in your properties policies, and in the Property Binder located at each property. Properties will be inspected before and after each tenancy. We kindly request your cooperation in reporting any damages by completing contacting the Tukkuruk Office via telephone or email, or the property manager directly if one is present.
The security deposit, less any applicable charges, will be postmarked within 21 days of your departure date, using U.S. Postal Service. If damage to the premises occurs during your stay and is not reported, the leaseholder will assume responsibility for repairs or replacement. A $50.00 stop payment fee will apply for reissuing lost or stolen checks or checks that are not sent directly our Tukkuruk Office. Additionally, checks returned due to non-sufficient funds will incur current NSF fees as determined by our financial institution.
Can I make changes, or cancel my Lodging Reservation?
We allow a one-time courtesy, reservation date modification by contacting our office, if your reservations is still 60 days out. The reservation modification is subject to availability, seasonality, and any applicable rate changes.
Please refer to our cancelation policy for specific details on modifying or canceling your vacation rental reservation.
Generally, if your reservation is in non-refundable status because of timing, you can cancel, but you will receive no refund. If your booking is partially refundable status, you may receive some refund, but will also loose your deposit.
Do I get an invoice after booking my Lodging Reservation?
Yes! You will receive and email with an invoice and explanation of your charges, as well as a link to your customer portal for your booking information.
What is your Cancelation and Refund Policy for Lodge Reservations?
Each Property has their own cancelation and refund policies due to size and use. As always, please see the specific details for each individual property regarding their own Polices and Rules.
For the Rental of the Entire Resort, or the Main Lodge:
To secure a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of making a booking BEFORE any credit card transaction processing fees have gone through, as these are non-refundable by the card issuer. All cancellations will incur a non-refundable fee of $100.00.
These are the Cancelation Policy Timelines:
180+ days from Lease Term – To secure a 100% refund, Tenant must cancel within 48 hours of making a booking and at least 180 days prior to check-in. These cancels will incur a $100 non-refundable cancellation fee, as well as any non-refundable taxes, credit card, or other financial processing fees.
179 – 60 days from Lease Term – If you choose to cancel your Lease between 179-60 days from the Lease Commencement date of this Lease, Tenant will receive a full refund less 25% of the Total Rent of the Lease, as well as any non-refundable taxes, credit card, or other financial processing fees.
59 – 30 days from Lease Term – If you choose to cancel your Lease between 59-30 days from the Lease Commencement date of this Lease, Tenant will receive a full refund less 50% of the Total Rent of the Lease, as well as any non-refundable taxes, credit card, or other financial processing fees.
29 Days or less from Lease Term – If you choose to cancel your trip within 29 days from the Lease Commencement date of this lease, a full forfeiture of all Rent applies.
Terms and Conditions:
- Cancellations may be communicated by phone or done through the online guest portal, but a follow-up written notice via email to our office is required by state law.
- Refunds will be processed and made payable to the leaseholder within 21 days following the clearing of the original Rent payment from our account.
- You are welcome to transfer your reservation to another party, provided a new lease holder is approved by Landlord, and they sign all necessary documents and policies PRIOR to commencement of Lease Term.

Prior to booking your rentals, determine what type of equipment is desired for you and your group, how many days you wish to rent, and any accessories you may need in connection with your rentals.
The equipment is rented and used at various properties managed by Tukkuruk, so to ensure the availability of equipment for your group, its recommended to book your rentals needs as early as possible when confirmed by your group, Its rented on a first-come first-served basis.
